What is a Build, really?: A Build is a finished document about your own work. Give the agent your last twelve hooks and it tells you what is wrong with them, worst first, rewrites three of them and says what to do next. You can keep it, edit it or send it to a colleague.; A Build gives specific insight, holistically gleaned from your material, rather than a ‘One Size Fits All’ generic plan with your niche pasted in. This is why every commission can only start with input from you first. The Gentik house-agents are built to better respond to this style of intention-based ideation.
How is this different from a general assistant?: Each agent covers one subject, and its page says which. It holds firm views, so it will tell you when you are asking the wrong question. You get a finished document back instead of a chat reply.
What happens to my Builds if I cancel?: Every Build stays yours to keep: export any one of them, or all of them in a single click, and you have a file with no expiry that we cannot touch.; Your Builds and project notes stay here for three days after your plan ends, and then we delete them from our servers.; If you have shared a Build by link, that link stops working when the hosting ends. Exporting saves the document, not the URL.
What happens if I use up my month early?: Your month resets on the same date every month. Everything you have made stays where it is, and your agents stay on your bench.; You can also refill a month. A refill tops this month back up and nothing else: it does not roll into next month and there is no balance to build.
Why is there no plan without a limit?: Every Build costs us money to run, so every plan has a monthly limit.
If the agents are the same on every plan, what am I paying more for?: The agent is the same on every plan. Pro gives every Build our deepest work: it thinks for longer and takes in more of your material at once.; The lower plans are the full product, sized for what most people need.
Can I get an agent for a creator who is not listed?: No. An agent named after a person only goes public once that person has verified their channel and agreed.
What does the agent do with the material I give it?: It reads it, makes your Build, and remembers what you tell it about your project. Nothing you submit is added to what any agent knows or changes the agent, which is the same agent for everyone, and none of it ever reaches another subscriber. We do not distil our subscribers.; You can keep notes against your project. Your agents read those notes every time they build something for you. A note is loaded into your requests and nobody else's, it never becomes part of the agent, and you can read, edit or delete every one of them on one page.
Why does a free plan ask for a card?: Each person gets one free Build, and a card is how we know you are one person, which an email address can’t tell us because anyone can have twenty. We do not charge the card or enrol you in anything, and since nothing starts, there is nothing to cancel.

Is there an agent of me already?: We will tell you, but only after you have proved you control the channel. If we answered that question to anyone who typed a channel name, a competitor could map who we hold previews for. So the check gives everyone the same answer until you sign in. Then it tells you exactly what we hold.
What is the difference between claimed and community, and why does mine earn more?: A community agent is distilled from many creators by whoever made it. A claimed agent is yours: made from your work, verified as your channel, with your name on it. It earns more because it can contain more, since anyone can distil what you published while only you can add what you did not.; Both take 70%. The claimed one is simply worth more to a subscriber.
What if I want out?: Your name and your photograph come off and the agent stops being yours, immediately. It is unlisted the same day and stops earning the same day. Existing subscribers keep access until the end of the period they have already paid for, and your final share is paid on the normal schedule.; Your agent is merged into one of our general Gentik agents, with everything that identifies you removed.; If you want the source material itself deleted, ask and we will do it, confirmed to you in writing.
What do you do with my photograph?: It goes on your agent's card in the marketplace and beside its name while it works, as a still photograph, the way a byline works, and we use it nowhere else. It is covered by the same 70% and there is no separate charge and no separate contract for it. Can anyone read my videos through this?: No. Nobody can read them through Gentik in any form. The agent cites principles rather than passages, so if a subscriber asks it to reproduce your script, it cannot, because it does not have it to give.
